Amber Reach
Summary
Amber Reach was once the glorious capital city of the Halcyon Domain, nestled against the Griefcleft Mountains that buttress the eastern edge of the Idol Hollows. Now, in the wake of The Apostasy, the once-prosperous capital's expansive cityscape of overbearing gates, gothic towers, and staggering fortresses lies damaged and derelict.
Empty households shelter horrors and looters, and the city has become a battleground between those who would preserve knowledge and those who would prey upon the desperate.
History
Before the Age of Umbra, Amber Reach was the seat of power in the Halcyon Domain—a magnificent city of towering architecture and arcane wonder. The wrath of the Veiled Gods devastated much of the city, though its massive structures proved resilient enough that portions survived.
In the century since, various factions have attempted to reclaim the city's ruins, with limited success.
