It serves as the headquarters of this faction of scholars and preservers, housing both their extensive archives and their fortified community.

History

Before The Apostasy, the Celsian Athenaeum was one of the greatest centers of learning in the Halcyon Domain. Scholars from across the realm came to study within its halls, which housed texts on Aetherweaving, history, natural philosophy, and countless other subjects.

When the Veiled Gods rained destruction upon the land, the Athenaeum's solid construction allowed it to survive where other buildings fell. Scholars who survived the cataclysm fortified the building, eventually growing into the faction known as the Celsian Athenaeum.
