Summary

The Shalk Chasm is a massive sinkhole that recently opened in the Idol Hollows following a seismic event. The collapse uncovered an expanse of long-buried structures and vestiges from before the Old World—ruins that predate even God-King Othedias's reign.

The chasm has become a site of both opportunity and danger for the people of Okros.

Discovery

The seismic event that created the Shalk Chasm was sudden and violent, opening a gaping wound in the swampland. What lies beneath has captured the attention of The Enduring—ancient structures that might contain lost knowledge, artifacts, or dangers.

When Huntmaster Evrados led his hunting band into the chasm to investigate, they discovered an eroded temple to an obscure Veiled God. Something within the temple captured Evrados and has stolen his voice to lure others to their doom.
