Summary

• On the way to the Whitefire Arcanist, the party spotted a missing poster for Borg - his wife, Lena is searching for him, Mort told her he died
• They traveled through the farmlands of Alula, passing crops covered in glowing blue moss and trees carved with hundreds of watching faces.
• At a massive tree, they found the Arcanist's home: a treehouse hanging from a braided rope, counterweighted by a boulder covered in arcane symbols.
• They met the Whitefire Arcanist, a seven-foot firefly faerie with jerky movements and a mischievous demeanor. She mentioned the Fanewraith had passed through recently and tampered with the village's protective wards.
• When she opened Vel's package, it contained Lumina's ward.
• The party escorted the Arcanist to the Open Vale for a ritual to revitalize the ward.
• During the ritual, ancient skeletons burst from the ground and Forest Wraiths approached. The party defended the Arcanist until the ritual completed successfully.
• Exhausted, the Arcanist revealed that a Spire near Lumina feels wrong - its light is weaker than it should be. She suspects something is wrong with the Spirekeeper and fears what happens if its fire goes out. She believes the Fanewraith may be there.
• During a long rest, several party members had visions:
  • Mort saw Jalsar marching behind a hooded shadowy figure. The figure stomped on a red flower. The vision ended with Jalsar noticing the presence of Mort
  • Codex received a system log in an ancient language - someone waiting for input, asking if he is there. A self-destruct countdown of 6 weeks if no message is received.
  • Aveena experienced grief, sorrow, endings... then nothingness, followed by new beginnings and a voice saying "FIND ME. Release me. Release yourself."
• 2 Options to travel to Lumina:
  • Travel through The Carnivorous Divide, a dangerous part of the forest, filled with monsters. Who knows what happened to these monsters when the Witherwild curse fell on them?
  • Through a place called Stolen Fen
