Summary
- The party entered Stolen Fen, were greeted by Commodore Jugg Longreach, revealed that ever since The Witherwild Corruption started, no one can leave the Stolen Fen.
- Sum'ara, with the help of Aveena and Codex, understood that the swamp was contaminated by some virus or disease, probably grew stronger and spreded because of The Witherwild Corruption.
- Lorcan spoke with Lesh, the Riverwalker, who allowed him to cross over the other side of the river, who let him know that the only way for them and the citizens of the Striding Cities, is to join forces and fight it together.
- In StompStride, Lorcan spoke with Generalissima Vega Burningdrum, sister of Commodore Jugg Longreach.
- Meanwhile, Xuan Wu had a conversation with The RIverwalker, and Sum'ara told Commodore Jugg Longreach about her theory, with Dex confirming it with details he got from Lorcan using their telepathic connection Dex set up earlier.
- Generalissima Vega Burningdrum and Commodore Jugg Longreach agreed to join forces, for a short while, in order to beat the curse and escape the decayed swamp.
- As the 2 cities became The Stride once again, Dex, Lorcan and Aveena went down to see The RIverwalker. Lorcan and Dex dove the river, and reached the bottom - the ceiling of a huge subterranean cave. They heard a creature sleeping, spewing out spores up to the surface, and the creature spew it's muck onto them as they tried to escape.
- Aveena felt a strong need inside, telling her to go down and see the creature, so she dove the river as well, she climbed down and reached the floor of the cave, but she woke up the creature, and it slashed her, she tried to climb up but the creature caught her and she fell unconscious.
- Hearing the noise, Lorcan went down the cave as a panther, caught Aveena, and went up to the surface, with Dex healing Aveena.
Notable Events
- The party connected the two Striding Sisters Cities into one city - The Stride marches on once more.
- Some of the party went below the river and encountered the rotting creature responsible for contaminating the Fen.
