Summary

• The party joined the reunion of The Stride and presented the information the gathered and their plan.
• The party went to The Harpoon tavern, encountered a fight about the food supplies StompStride had during the partition, Xuan calmed the people.
• During the Long Rest, Aveena spoke to her Patron, she asked what is he, nothingness, grief, sorrow, nothing and everything all at once. For a moment, The Nothingness broke the block it put on Aveena's bottled up feelings.
• The party went down to the river, and Xuan helf Dex with a rope to collect a sample for Sum'ara, but Dex fell, with Xuan, Aveena and Sum'ara joining, while Lorcan went up to The Stride to set up the harpoons and cannons.
• Sum'ara had a feeling like a very familiar Fungril tried to communicate with her via the Fungril Network.
• The party fought the Withered Rot, with Sum'ara and Aveena nearly dying.
• After the fight, it was revealed that underneath the rot and decay, there's something else, what looks like a humanoid dung beetle. Xuan peeled off the layers of rot, Lorcan recognized this figure as Carrion, the Rot and Decay.
• Aveena felt a need to take the energy of this being to herself, she held her hands over Carrion's head, with him screaming "stop, please not him!", and Dex cast Sleep on Aveena to stop her.
• The party went to the surface and saw the swamp is healing slowly, still decayed and rotten, but not as diesead like it was. Lesh dropped her barrier and now, Stolen Fen can be exited.
• The people of The Stride cheered for their freedom of this cursed swamp, and the party saw a couple of shadowy figures enter the fen from the forest.

• Dex stopping Aveena from consuming the weakened god of the decay.
