• Horatio attempted to cast a spell but failed and splattered to the ground Xuan and Lorcan tried to save Veronika, and they almost had her, almost, but she fell to her death.
• Flying to her, she told Xuan on her dying breath that his son is alive, then mentioned Archmage Phylax, and died.
• Meanwhile, Aveena, Sum'ara and Mort reached Cloven Ridge Village, they were welcomed by the Fauns of the village and Ivar, the elder, greeted them and urged Aveena to stay because of the dangers of the week-long night.
• Xuan and Lorcan landed, telling the rest of the party what happened.
• Sum'ara spoke with Spymaster Kreil Dirn, he was really disturbed by the news of his fallen colleague, and he fears for what will happen to Haven when her replacement will join the Triumvirate.
  • Kreil told Sum'ara that he won't tell Phylax about her upcoming journey to Sesh Monastery, but he'll probably find out sooner than later.
• After gathering their strengths at the local inn, where Aveena met her mother but was rather reluctant to see her. the party ventured forward to Sesh Monastery.
• Sum'ara spoke with Aveena's patron, they said they will help her if needed, but insisted that Sum'ara will find someone to blame, to take responsibility.
• Flying in the first day of night, the party reached the monastery, they landed, and saw a great owl looming over the dome of the building, and then disappearing like leaves in the wind.
