Summary
- Jalsar continued to explain the party the reason he's here, and that the cause is more important then anything, they're trying to save lives, and if a few get hurt along the way, they are an unfortunate but necessary sacrifice to save millions.
- Mort asked Jalsar to return her artifact, the one he stole from her graveyard. Jalsar can't do that until he's done with it, so he proposed that Mort and the others will join him and the rebels on their journey, and when they're done, he'll return it to her.
- The party agreed, with Sum'ara formalizing the matter with an agreement and signatures, and Jalsar said they're leaving tomorrow morning.
- Xuan left the safe house to follow Jalsar, but he was stopped by the guards of The Luminous Spire, so he waited to Jalsar outside.
- Meanwhile, Sum'ara and Aveena secured rooms in the local tavern, The Marbles.
- Lorcan had a talk with Mort, telling her things will be okay and it's better to travel with friends who can protect you.
- Suddenly, there was a flash from the Crystal, which everyone in the city felt.
- Lorcan tapped into the cricket he left in one of the rebels clothes, and saw the Faint Divinity Apidae, the Hum of Forenoon handing a glob of light to Jalsar, urging him to keep his part of the deal.
- Everyone met after that at the inn and shared what they experienced, upon hearing the news about the light globe from Lorcan, Aveena had a vision:
- She was falling from the sky, and then she landed on a foreign and strange land. Some time went by and she understood the lay of the land and how things work. After a while, she became attached to someone(s), but quickly left betrayed, even heartbroken, which became hatred, grief. Those feeling grew and became stronger and nothing was left, and she decided to hurt others so they will feel like she did.
She was stopped by some group, caged. The last thing she remembered was a flash of light.
After a long, long time, she woke up, there was an opening in her cage, so she escaped, and the next thing she did was to find others like her, filled with grief, sadness, anger, and use them. - Aveena is afraid by this artifact, but also curios for what it could do.

- At night, Sum'ara tried to find a clue in Aveena's belongings, but didn't find anything of value other than the note from the Spymaster.
- At morning, as the party left the inn, the innkeeper told Aveena to be careful, and that there was an expedition of explorers and archeologists then stayed here a few months ago before journeying into the darkness, but never returned. Altough the innkeeper says they were friends with him, he only remembers the leader of the group, Evaris, his cousin, a Faun from Cloven Ridge Village, Aveena's home. He can't remember the rest of them, but he thinks they were scholars from some organization he's not familiar with.
- the party joined up with Jalsar and his rebels, and they went out, leaving the safe light of Lumina into the darkness.
- After hearing from Lorcan and Aveena details they're not supposed to know about the journey, Jalsar decided to reveal they they are planning to take both the Solar Remnant (the globe of light) and The Deathkeeper's Torc (Mort's necklace), and use them in an ancient site called The Seed of the Night Feeders to get rid of the eternal night curse in Noctamoor.
- After an argument in the party, the creatures of the night ambushed them, and the party and Jalsar fought Pain Beasts and Dire Bats, while Jalsar's rebels fought more monsters nearby. The party beat most of them, but suddenly the rebels ran away from the monsters they fought, now only 2 of them, and a huge flying creature, the size of a house, flew by and took them.
- The creature landed near the party, hungry and bloodthirsty.
