Summary
- The party fought against the dragon-like creature - Lord of the Eternal Night Sky, Noctarrog, defeating it to bits and pieces, with Codex exploding the dragon and himself in the process.
- Sum'ara found what seems to be Dex's core, a globe with infinite sides, and while examining it, she saw different visages of Dex waking up in a forest, climbing up the stairs to the Ophidian Arcanaeum, Archmage Phylax doing some tinkering on Dex, and finally - Dex waking up in a street while The Serpent's Sickness spreads.
- Lorcan decided to adopt Dex unnamed kitten.
- The party made a Long Rest at a cave on the way, as everyone waked up, Lorcan tried to figure out Divine influence nearby:
- a comforting feeling of death from Mort's skull companion Herald
- a feeling of growth and flowering somewhere from Xuan
- a strange feeling - like the sun burning your skin and eyes from Jalsar's artifact - Apidae's gift to him
- a feeling of the changing seasons from Dex's core held by Sum'ara, and an unimaginable feeling of nothingness from Aveena fighting and cooperating with wizardry magic
- Lorcan also felt something from within himself, pure divinity:
- He also remembered a conversation he overheard from two professors at the Preditton University:
- The archeological division in Preditton is huge, due to the fact that the past is unknown, no one knows the origins of the world, there have been motions to collaborate with the Sesh Monastery but they didn’t cooperate, they must know something
- He also remembered a conversation he overheard from two professors at the Preditton University:
- All of this new information caused Lorcan to pass out.
- The party continues to The Seed of the Night Feeders, a jet black tower, half broken, the broken earth near it is torn from some sort of blast, and there are blast shadows of different figures standing together.
- Mort used Commune and got a vision:
- Long ago, in this same place, she saw the darkness begin to spread from the tower, Faint Divinities joined together to fight against a dark entity, a humanoid creature made from pure incomprehensible darkness and space. The Nothingness hurt a few of the Faint Divinities, but Herald sacrificed most of his form and power to join forces with other depleted gods and trap The Nothingness.
- Faint Divinities seen in the vision:
- Carrion, the Rot and Decay
- Apidae, the Hum of Forenoon
- Oove, the Watcher of the Night Bloom
- Ikla, the Sky Painter
- Herald, the Final Rest
- Omiodes, the Wing of Eventide
- Unknown Giant goddess of flowers and stone
- A Giant towering woman, with calloused hands - like dirt or rock between her fingers, eating some sort of a huge rocky apple, as she eats the rocks more plants grow around her
- Unknown pair of gods
- Goddess of Family - Half Elf like woman with a cat in a satchel, she’s like a fireplace in a snow storm
- God of Abandonment - A human like man, tidy and organized, socially awkward
- Unknown Fungril god of teleportation, communication, time, and spread - looking full of vines
- Any many more.
