Summary

• After Mort witnessed events from the past that transpired here, at The Seed of the Night Feeders, long ago, where many Deities, including Herald, defeated and trapped The Nothingness, the party entered the tower, thanks to Xuan and Lorcan hitting Xuan's stone-flower artifact with great power.
• Inside the dark tower, the party saw bedrolls, sketches and notebooks of an archeological expedition.
• Going up the stairs, the party saw weird etchings on the wall, and a group of skeletal archeologists, who sprung back to life and fought the party. After defeating the skeletons, they reformed to a flesh monster, which the party defeated as well.
• On the next floors, there were more remains and sketches of the expedition, and the reason they journeyed here, to find the purpose of this monolith and maybe get some clues to the reason we're all here, they expressed anger onto the monks at the Sesh Monastery, keeping valuable information to themselves.
• On the top of the tower, there was a small child-like figure in a cage. The child had no features, and he looked like the night sky, with stars and constellations all over his body. The cage had a small opening in 2 bars which were corroded. The child was scared, all alone, he was alone for a long time.
• After some convincing, the child explained that he appeared here with the tower a long time ago, went outside and gotten familiar with the land, he met a lot of people and was happy, but he did something and everyone got mad at him, so they hurt him and caged him here, in this cage that was supposed to be his home.
• Herald said the child killed a god, but for some reason he can't remember which one.
• Jalsar, working on the ritual, was nearly finished, Aveena agreed to open the cage for the child and open her heart to him, the child said he'll do whatever it takes, but Aveena was stopped as Xuan hit the cage and the child into a corner.
• The child raised his hand, freezing everyone, lifted Jalsar in the air and flew him off the tower. The child exited the cage, held Aveena's hand and entered his other ethereal hand into Aveena's heart, and he disappeared into her.
• Everything unfroze, Xuan jumped from the tower to catch Jalsar, but he missed, and both him and Jalsar crashed into the ground, Jalsar splattered and died, Herald tried to save him but failed.
