Summary

Grand General Veronika Kasvox "joined" the party's journey to the Sesh Monastery, offering a ride on Giant Eagles, and joined by soldier Fabian and war wizard Horatio.
The party decided to take the shortest route and make a stop at Silversage River, and another stop at Cloven Ridge Village.

On the way, the party saw more and more settlements and places getting conquered by the Haven Army, describe seeing black smoke rising from several places, smell of soot and coal and magic, and In the distance, several units of Giant Eagles surveying the forest.

The party stopped at Silversage River, where they took a rest and roasted marshmallows.
Sum'ara got a message from Spymaster Kreil Dirn, he's desperate, he asks her to prevent Kasvox from getting near Nikta, in return, he will personally help each of the party - not with information - with actual means to an end.
Lorcan tried to talk to Lesh, the Riverwalker via the river, but he didn't get an answer, he felt a pair of hands attempting to reach him but fading away.

The party continued on their journey, and they saw a Haven Army flare shot from the area of The Carnivorous Divide, they landed there, and encountered a noble called Baron Hugo Carlyle, also known as the Baron of Coal, with a scared group of soldiers, saying they're seeing dead bodies. The party fought a Juvenile Flickerfly showing illusions and hallucinations to a group of knights, controlling them and the Baron, shouting commands at them. Xuan saved Veronika after she got eaten by the Flickerfly.

The party shooed the Baron away and told him to get out of the forest.
As the party returned to Horatio, Fabian, the 5 Giant Eagles and Veronika's Gryphon, they saw Horatio, bloodied, holding the dead body of his friend Fabian, and 3 out of the 5 eagles dead, with one of them - the youngest one - with a torn wing.
